De Vere Cranage Estate Wedding Photography
From the moment I first met Caron we clicked. It was over two years ago at only my second ever wedding fair. Caron said she could hear my wonderful Welsh voice drifting through the room the moment she entered. As soon as she arrived at my stand she simply stated ‘you’re photographing my wedding.’ She wasn’t lying! After a huge hug there and then I knew Caron and Dean’s big day was going to be worth the wait. I couldn’t wait to be their Cranage Estate Wedding Photographer. Fast forward to June 10th 2017, 28 months later and the special day had finally arrived…
Being the absolute nutcase that she is, Caron bought her beautiful Ravel shoes just for the photos! She infact wore flat sandals under her dress because her handsome groom Dean is how I like to describe myself as ‘vertically challenged!’ Sorry Dean! My mum always told me good things come in small packages! As for the beautiful blooms, Flower Passion, Alsager did an incredible job on all of the bouquets and room decorations.
Wedding Photography at the De Vere Cranage Estate
Caron and her ladies all got ready together in the bridal suite at De Vere Cranage Estate and as predicted was brilliant madness. With no less than 13 bridesmaids and flowergirls the room was absolutely buzzing with energy and excitement! They all looked incredible! The ladies at Pheonix Hair and Beauty and Amethyst Hair did a great job along with Champagne Whisper who did their make up.
Whilst Caron and her luscious ladies continued their preparations I nipped down to meet Dean and the lads. We were meant to meet at the reception but we all knew where they were going to be. In the bar! Caron said to me before going down how lucky she was to have Dean. She loved how gorgeous he looked in a suit. She wasn’t wrong. He and the boys were kitted out by the fantastic award winning L and J Formal Hire.
There was one thing Caron wanted the most for her wedding day and that was to get married outside. Mother nature appeared to have other ideas though with rain throughout the morning and showers scheduled all throughout the day. In true my bride style, Caron didn’t give a stuff and gave the order to set up outside. She was doing it come rain or shine. Question is, did her guests get soaked…?
Cheshire Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Cranage Estate
The pathway was flooded, the grass not much better and the sky threatened to cry at a moments notice. The fantastic staff at Cranage Estate battled on though. They even had to use a sweeping brush to move the surface water away from what would be the front row of seats. True dedication there.
Whilst the staff continued operation outdoor ceremony and the lads topped up their pints, Caron and the girls managed to squeeze more people than I thought possible into the bathroom and it was time to get her into her dress. I’m sure you’ll agree she looked sensational!
It turns out, Caron’s risky decision to marry outdoors was going to pay off! As Dean and the guests made their way outside to their seats the rain had dried up. Happy days!
Wedding Celebrations at Cranage Estate
The newly refurbished Cranage Estate is looking wonderful! Caron and Dean decorated the space with beautiful floral martini glass arrangements matching Caron’s bouquet. The James Bond fans named each of the tables after their favourite Bond films. The room was dressed to perfection by Let’s Celebrate and Cover Story Wedding and Events.
Singing Waiters at De Vere Cranage Estate
Of course, no real party wedding is complete without some singing waiters! Conga lines and, dancing on seats and the obligatory swing your napkins really got everyone in the party spirit. Not that it took much with these nutters! Caron chose the fantastic Singing Staff who brought the room to life.
The evening celebrations were topped off with an incredible chocolate fountain by Augustus Gloops. The DJ and photobooth hire from I Want to Party DJ and Photobooth.
