Hi, I'm Helen.

I’ve always been described as a bit of a bonkers one… mad as a box of frogs… full of energy.

Turns out it’s ADHD, and I couldn’t be prouder or in a better-suited job. It means I spot the moment before it happens, I think sideways when a room is difficult, and I get calmer as the day gets messier.

I’m often asked what my favourite venue or kind of wedding is. The reality is I don’t have one!

For me, the best weddings are always the ones where my couple create a day that truly reflects them, their passions and their style. They don’t follow TikTok trends or want to be featured in Vogue. They just want a fun day filled with their favourite people and things!

Helen shot our wedding in May 2026. Absolutely incredible photos! She's a delight to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She listened to what we wanted, and delivered above and beyond, injecting her own element of fun into the day. We didn't even notice her during the ceremony itself, but somehow she and Neil managed to capture every joyous moment in exquisite detail, from getting ready until the last dances of the night. Last year I knew I wanted to up my game as a wedding photographer so when Helen opened her mentoring diary, I was quick to book one of her limited places. The last 12 months really have been a game changer for me. Helen is honest and open, quick to praise and equally quick to give constructive criticism where it's needed. Over the year we reviewed my website, my social media, my wedding work flow, my marketing strategy and my client journey. Having started the year not sure which direction I should go in, Helen devised a plan, set me homework and made me accountable for my actions. I booked mentoring with Helen last year and it genuinely came at exactly the right time for me. I was feeling a bit lost with the creative side of my photography and needed someone to help me find my feet again. Helen picked me up, gave me really honest and thoughtful feedback, and helped me in the exact areas I wanted to focus on. Every session felt relaxed and supportive, and she took the time to properly understand what I was trying to achieve. I can't believe we haven't rated Helen already on here! She shot our wedding in October 2017 and we were and still are thrilled with her results. Not only is Helen an amazing photographer but she's an amazing person too! Nothing was too much trouble for her before, during and after the day. She made us feel so relaxed and we enjoyed our pre-wedding shoot like an old friend was photographing us. On our wedding day Helen and Luke were always around but never in the way and simply captured everything we loved about the day. Helen is absolutely phenomenal. She is the most professional yet friendly soul who fits right in on your big day. The photos are incredible and we will treasure these for the rest of our lives. We hired Helen for our wedding in Dorfold Hall, Cheshire in August 2025. We met with quite a few photographers in the lead up to the wedding but as soon as we met Helen we knew she was the one for us. Her personality instantly shone out. She has the gift of being a very authoritative figure who can control a room whilst being very lovely and fun which makes all the guests completely at ease and comfortable.
