Are you going to get your kit off for me?
Hi I'm Helen...
To all the giddy lovers who probably after countless hours searching the internet have stumbled across my page – welcome! For those of you who are looking for a purely documentary, unposed photographer who hugs the walls, stays in the shadows and spends the day in ‘ninja mode’ I am not the photographer for you. You want your images to look like a variety of grainy instagram filters have been thrown over them? You might as well click on your back button and make your way back to your Google search. Want a photographer to 'just turn up for a couple of hours and take some pics?' - that is most definitely not me. Why am I not all of these things? Because I LOVE my job. I love weddings and people and parties. I want to capture every moment of your big day in the most creative and fun way possible. My images are colourful, dramatic and capture the energy of the day.
To the brides and grooms who want a multi award-winning, passionate photographer who goes the extra mile to ensure your photographs capture your epic and vibrant personalities then you have come to the right place. I, Helen Williams am a fun-loving, energetic and creative photographer based in Nantwich, Cheshire. Despite the numerous awards and accolades I am most definitely one very down to earth, often bonkers lady who loves nothing more than capturing awesome wedding celebrations in the UK and abroad!
Remember, whilst getting naked is optional
having fun is mandatory
Now that I have your attention...
This is what I capture
The fleeting moments
The epic portraits
The best of you!
Planning your wedding?
You’re getting married? Congratulations! Welcome to one of the most exciting, nerve-racking, expensive, stressful few months of your life. Let’s face it once the initial excitement of the bling on your finger has eased, shit gets real. You’re now faced with the task of finding your perfect wedding venue (with availability) to squish all your nearest and dearest in so that they can witness you marrying the love of your life then eat and drink away your life savings in a few hours. You need to go on a liquid diet of grass so you can squeeze yourself into the perfect dress; buy designer shoes that are going to require more blister plasters than a marathon runner; spend every waking moment and toilet break on Pinterest and Tik Tok; try and avoid world war three with your seating plan; book the coolest band; get a casino; magician; wedding cars; a 6 tier cake; flowers that hang from the bloody ceiling and come up with a really original idea for your favours because lets face it, you’ve only spend about a hundred quid on each guests so they can eat, drink, be waited on and entertained all day – heaven forbid the scandal if you didn’t then also give them a present for turning up! Jeez! Weddings are exhausting! Seriously. They don’t have to be though. Stop. Take breath. Step away from the ’10 things you have to have at your wedding’ article and just think about who you are as a couple. My favourite weddings regardless of budget, theme or venue are those where the couple and their personalities are reflected in the day.
