Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Photography – Helen and Andrew
Sandhole Oak Barn is a beautiful, custom built barn overlooking a stunning lake on the outsides of Congleton, Cheshire. The exclusive venue is perfect for Brides and Grooms who want to share their wedding day with only their family and friends. The beautiful secluded location means that there will be no members of the general public gatecrashing your big day. The breathtaking lake and countryside views spoil us wedding photographers with so much choice!
Helen and her gorgeous bridesmaids got ready on the morning of the wedding at her beautiful home in Tarporley. The fantastic girls from Doll Make Up Studio, Chester did an outstanding job adding some fabulous glamour to the girls.
Helen’s elegant, sleek and sparkly wedding dress was perfectly matched with a large sunflower bouquet made by Lily Rose Events.
Page boys – this is how it’s done.
I’m sorry to all the wonderful page boys I have had the pleasure of photographing over the years. Tom, this handsome young man, is just the CUTEST EVER!!! The cap, waistcoat, bow-tie. Utter perfection!
Tom’s Mummy and beautiful bride Helen didn’t scrub up too badly either! I love the sleek lines of her wedding dress. It certainly made dancing the night away much easier as you will see very soon.
The Groom, Andrew and his Best Man, Steve had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the stunning grounds at Sandhole Oak Barn. I think it’s safe to say that they were both cool as cucumbers in the lead up to the wedding reception.
Romantic Wedding Ceremonies at Sandhole Oak Barn
The large windows overlooking the lake and far reaching countryside. The striking wrought iron ceiling lights and fairylights galore. The man of your dreams looking drop dead gorgeous and patiently waiting for you. What more could you possibly want to see whilst you are walking down the aisle?
VW Camper Vans
I love camper vans as wedding transport. They can fit more of your bridal party in than your traditional car and are just so cute and fun. The team at Happy Camper Weddings couldn’t have been more helpful on the day and we a pleasure to work with.
We also had the fantastic time working with the incredibly fun and relaxed Tom at Silk Wedding Films. It was great having a brief moment away with the bride and groom to get some lovely images. It also gave Tom the chance to get some romantic footage of them both. If you get to the bottom of the blog, you can even check out his fantastic wedding film!
Sandhole Oak Barn Lake
Sandhole Oak Barn’s lake is the perfect backdrop for your bridal portraits. Just be careful of the swans who love to come and photobomb at every opportunity!
Victoria and her team at Lily Rose Events did an incredible job of decorating the barn. The bright and fresh sunflower theme continued throughout the space. Touches of hessian and natural wood really tied in with the rustic feel of the venue.
Sunset photos at Sandhole Oak Barn
As you can probably tell there are many things I love about this venue. The sprawling countryside views; incredible lake; secluded location. All of these things are fabulous however I have to say that the sunsets here are the very best!
Helen and Andrew’s first dance was certainly more high energy than most. I loved the circle formed by family and friends and the feeling of such happiness and celebration. I think they definitely proved that a first dance doesn’t need to be slow or soppy. Feel free to jump around and be who you really are as a couple.
After Dark Photos at Sandhole Oak Barn
Finally, the stunning clock tower at Sandhole Oak Barn is a photographic opportunity that you have to take. It’s great to have another moment away from the hustle and bustle of the party and just relax and reflect on your day.
