Crewe Hall Wedding Photographer

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I am now a recommended wedding supplier at the beautiful Crewe Hall in Cheshire. Originally built between 1616 and 1636 by Ranulph Crewe, the hall was the first ever brick built residence in the north of England. Today, it’s home to many of Cheshire’s luxury weddings, conferences, balls and charity galas. I am thrilled I get to photograph so many of these amazing events. It also happens to be one of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues which is fab for me since I live less than five minutes away in the village of Weston.

Everything about Crewe Hall screams history and luxury. The long tree-line driveway makes a fantastic first impression on approach to the hall and is often a fab spot to capture some photos on the big day.

The bridal suite at Crewe Hall is absolutely stunning with both living room and bedroom, complete with four poster bed. It is the perfect place to relax on your wedding morning whilst your beauty team help you look your very best!

The large number of stunning rooms that can hold your wedding ceremony allows for some much scope and possibility. The beautiful wood panels, marble fireplaces and ornate ceilings ensure your wedding photos will look timeless, beautiful and elegant.

One thing I really love about photographing weddings at Crewe Hall is the fantastic photo opportunities that are available throughout the year and regardless of the weather. Summer offers the perfect opportunity for a drinks reception and canapes outdoors on the fabulous Moet and Chandon champagne terrace. On the days where soaking up the sun is not an option the candle lit Hall of Pillars allows your guests to relax next to the fire and enjoy the warm, romantic atmosphere.

Wedding Portraits at Crewe Hall

The well maintained grounds at Crewe Hall allow for plenty of photo opportunities for your family formals and fun photos with your bridesmaids and groomsmen. Of course, this too includes some gorgeous portraits of you lovely newlyweds! The two photos below are taken in June and December showing that regardless of the season Crewe Hall is a spectacular backdrop for your wedding photos.

Inside of the hall is where my creative juices really get flowing. The darker spaces such as the hall of pillars and the chapel allow for some really creative shots with flash!

The Hall and driveway at night is so very beautiful. The ability to light areas of interest and even go back out onto the driveway and capture the impressive building behind you means you will always have a perfect image after dark to finish off your wedding album. I’ve even managed to pick up some international wedding photography awards for my night time images here!
