Join me each month for a bespoke 90 minute zoom meeting, focused solely on your business goals and learning targets. Each session is designed around you, your goals and the areas you wish to improve. I have mentored photographers who were 8 weeks into business to those with over 20 years of full time experience. No topics are off-limits!
I will be hosting 3 online group masterclasses where I will be critiquing your images; sharing one of my full wedding galleries and showing you exactly how I take my images from 'RAW to Phwoar.' Each of these will allow you to ask questions as I go and interact. These will be available to re-watch.
Meet up with other mentees on two practice shoots. We will be heading out on a beautiful golden hour pre-wedding shoot in Summer* followed by a night time off-camera flash practice shoot in late Autumn*. Lots of time to ask questions and experiment without any pressure!

Come along with me to a real wedding day where you have the chance to watch me work, watch live how I use a variety of lighting techniques and build great rapport with my couples. You can choose to just watch and take it in, or do some shooting yourself.

Absolutely! For many of us, we kind of stumbled our way into photography and never really had anyone help us in the day to day running and building of our businesses. My job as a mentor isn't to magically appear with all of the answers. It's to ask you the right questions so that you can find the answers that are right for you and your business. There's no one size fits all in this industry so let's chat and see if we're a good fit!
If I decide to go ahead, what is the process?

Once I stop doing my happy dance around my office, I will send you the link to the invoice. As soon as it is paid you will then receive a questionnaire to complete which will give me a really great overview of you, your business and the areas of support you would like. With regards to booking your sessions in, it's super easy to see my availability and book yourself in via a Calendly link. All meetings will be held weekdays between 11am and 8pm UK time. It's advised that we do one session per month and all sessions must be completed within 12 months.
Is there a specific list of topics that we cover?

Every single one of my mentoring sessions is completely bespoke to each of my amazing photographers. Apart from our first meeting where we do a wide overview of your business and your online presence, I don't have any 'must have' sessions because our time is precious. You're making a big investment in me and I want you to have the most of every minute. What we cover each month depends very much on what you would like to cover and spend time on whether it's curating your instagram feed, editing images together, website critique, finding your ideal client tasks, whatever we do it will be with my absolute full attention and passion!

"So I’ve been a wedding photographer for a number of years now. I have achieved something great in regards to my knowledge and my business. I seem to be performing well in saturated and competitive business, but, not being one to settle with what I had, I wanted to ensure I was investing in myself and my business to further strive forward to not only reach, but exceed my desired goals.
One way I thought to do this is to seek the guidance of someone who is absolutely smashing the wedding photography industry and making waves so big, that I need to strap on my arm bands and unicorn rubber ring and ride those waves!

First off, let's talk about her teaching style. Forget boring lectures and dry PowerPoint presentations; Helen's approach is more like a comedy show with a side of valuable insights. And yes, you better believe that topics like "boobs, bogeys, and farts" are fair game in her sessions.
This Mentoring Agreement (the "Agreement") is made on %job_date% between:

1. Overview of Mentoring Program
The Mentor agrees to provide a 12-month wedding photography mentoring program to the Mentee. The program consists of monthly mentoring sessions designed to develop the Mentee's skills, knowledge, and business in the wedding photography industry.
2. Term
The term of this Agreement is 12 months, beginning on (today's date) and ending on (the same date next year!)
3. Services Provided
Mentoring sessions will be held once per month, totaling 12 sessions, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. The Mentor agrees to provide guidance, feedback, and industry knowledge during each session, focusing on the needs and goals set by the Mentee. In addition, the mentee has access to 3 online masterclasses (which will be recorded to playback), 2 in-person shooting opportunities and 1 shadowing opportunity at a real wedding (subject to availability and allocated on a first come first served basis)
4. Session Scheduling and Rescheduling
- Scheduling: Each monthly session will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
- Rescheduling: If either party needs to reschedule, they must give at least 48 hours’ notice. The Mentor will make reasonable efforts to accommodate one rescheduling request per month, but additional changes may not be guaranteed.
5. Fees and Payment Terms
- Total Fee: The cost of the 12-month program is £1750 GBP.
- Payment Structure: Payments can be made:
- In full at the beginning of the program
- Payment Due Date: Payment is due at the start of the term
6. Refund Policy
Fees for this mentoring program are non-refundable. In the event the Mentee wishes to terminate the program early, they are still obligated to pay for the full term of 12 months.
7. Mentee Responsibilities
The Mentee agrees to:
- Attend each session prepared and ready to engage.
- Implement any agreed-upon strategies and complete any tasks assigned by the Mentor.
- Actively communicate progress and challenges during sessions.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep any confidential information discussed during sessions private and not disclose it to third parties without consent.
9. Intellectual Property
The Mentee acknowledges that any materials, resources, or techniques shared by the Mentor are the intellectual property of the Mentor. The Mentee agrees not to distribute or share these materials without permission.
10. Termination of Agreement
This Agreement may be terminated under the following conditions:
- By either party in the case of breach of terms by the other party, provided the breach is not corrected within 14 days of written notification.
- Upon mutual agreement, with any remaining fees payable in full by the Mentee.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Mentor is not liable for any losses or damages the Mentee may incur as a result of the mentoring program. The Mentee assumes full responsibility for implementing any strategies and advice provided by the Mentor.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Mentor and Mentee. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
