Weston Hall Wedding Photographer – Emma and Sam

My 2017 wedding season kicked off in style at the gorgeous Weston Hall, Stafford. Emma and Sam, chose the beautiful grade II listed building to tie the knot and celebrate with their closest family and friends. Whilst the girls were primped and preened by the lovely Nina Wren the boys managed braces and bow ties whilst getting dapper at The Dog and Doublet, Sandon.

I must say that I loved the tweed suits. After years of domination from the navy three piece, are the tides changing to a more traditional look? Either way, I thought Sam and his groomsmen all looked rather gorgeous!

Bridal Preps at Weston Hall

I must say that Emma must be one of the most calm, relaxed and beautiful brides I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Totally unphased by the enormity of the day it was as if these ladies had got together for a morning coffee and just happened to be having their hair and make up done at the same time.  It really was a perfect start to the day. I also need to say a huge thank you to the staff at Weston Hall for getting the bridal suite turned around super quick so I could use it to photograph the beautiful details! Emma’s stunning Mori Lee dress was purchased and fitted to perfection by the fantastic Robertas Bridal, Stoke on Trent.

Emma and Sam’s Weston Hall Wedding Breakfast and Speeches

The Westminster Suite at Weston Hall looked absolutely stunning. The beautiful chandeliers, wood-panelled walls and large fire places really lets the history of the building come to life and is really was the perfect space for everyone to be wined and dined. With everyone well fed and the wine well and truly flowing it was time to crack on with the speeches. There were tears, broken mugs, a one of a kind portrait, shots of whiskey, two best men, birthday boys and the most wonderful and amusing memories recalled.

Spring Weddings at Weston Hall

With weddings between October and April, as soon as speeches are finished the sun has set which can only mean one thing. Play time! If there is one thing we enjoy doing at Helen Williams Photography it’s having fun after dark. Thankfully for us, our couples are hardcore and a little cold weather doesn’t put them off. Emma and Sam were no exception and even their bridal party came out to play. We are so happy they did!

A huge thank you to the super talented Frosted Fancies of Stoke for their awesome cakes. We also loved the bride and groom gingerbread men.  Sam wasn’t really into the traditional cake cut so decided to dive right on in and take a bite!

Thank you so much Emma and Sam for allowing us to share your special day. We had an incredible time with all of your lovely family and friends. Also a massive thank you to the super talented Chris at Carpe Diem Photography for second shooting for me on the day. It was a pleasure as always 🙂
