Ocean views, stunning gardens, elegant and spacious spaces and an alter overlooking the beach provided the most incredible and elegant backdrop for Ingrid and Neil’s beautiful wedding at Villa Cisne, Estapona, Marbella, Spain. How darn lucky was I to be able to second shoot this stunning wedding with my bestie Chris Wallace at Carpe Diem Photography.

The ever glamorous couple tied the knot in front of 70 of their closest family and friends in a stunning early-evening ceremony on the Costa Del Sol. As Ingrid and her best women were preparing in the stunning suite overlooking the sea guests began to arrive and enjoy the villa’s beautiful gardens and welcome drinks. Greeted by Neil and his groomsmen who all looked incredibly dapper in their tuxedos and fantastic personalised sunglasses!

The Spanish weather certainly didn’t disappoint and as guests filed through the villa to take their seats they were very appreciative of the fans the couple provided. It was hot! Our bride Ingrid and her best women looked simply breath-taking as they walked through the beautiful gardens to the front of the aisle. Especially poignant, Ingrid was walked down the aisle and given away by Neil’s beautiful daughter Lilly. I don’t think there was a dry eye to be seen as they made their final walk towards Neil.

It was an absolute pleasure to work again with Padre Peter who officiated the ceremony and as always never fails to bring the perfect balance of solemnity and fun to the proceedings. After signing the register Ingrid and Neil danced back down the aisle to ‘Now That We Found Love’ to the whoops and cheers from their guests.

Drinks and formal photographs proceeded the ceremony before everyone was treated to a wonderful meal. We managed to steal away for a few minutes at sunset to take some stunning shots of the bride and groom before heading back to start the speeches during dusk. The beautiful twinkling lights over the terrace and backdrop of the incredible infinity pool provided the perfect backdrop for the emotional speeches. We love shooting the speeches because they give us the perfect opportunity to find out all the dirty secrets/accomplishments of the bride and groom. One thing that was so very clear from the amazing speeches given was just how much love and adoration everyone has for Ingrid and Neil and what a truly wonderful couple they are.

As the last of the daylight disappeared it was really time to party! From the incredible dancing moves that Ingrid and Neil displayed whilst coming down the aisle and entering their wedding breakfast we knew that when the official first dance was going to be amazing. They certainly didn’t disappoint! The Frank Sinatra classic ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ drifted through the air and surrounded by their family and friends they certainly brought a bit of magic to the night.

It was also no surprise that it didn’t take long for the party to really get started and the guests to join them on the dancefloor. All in all it was a truly stunning day that we were incredibly lucky to capture. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hayward. Thank you so much for letting us share your amazing day.

As always, a huge thank you to Chris at Carpe Diem Photography for letting me second shoot this stunning wedding.
